Material availability is a real shop detail, not a generic menu. The currently known catalog options are PLA and Silk PLA. Ask before ordering when you need a different filament, a particular color or a specific use.

Current catalog material families

These are the only material choices presented as known catalog options here. A request still needs a maker review for geometry, color, availability and intended use.

Known catalog material

PLA

The general-purpose filament currently identified in the QuestItemsIRL catalog. It is commonly used for display pieces and many low-heat indoor objects, subject to review of the specific geometry and intended use.

Color and spool availability are confirmed for the request rather than assumed from this page.

Known catalog material

Silk PLA

A decorative PLA variant with a reflective finish. It can be a good visual choice for suitable display work, but the finish does not make it a different safety category or a universal functional material.

The visual effect, layer visibility and handling depend on the specific object and finish expectations.

Generic material information can help you ask better questions. It is not a list of all materials offered by the shop, and it is not a promise that a requested material is available.

PLA

A broad material family reference. The shop’s currently known option is listed above; exact filament and availability are confirmed per request.

PETG

Educational comparison only. PETG is not a claim that QuestItemsIRL currently offers it. Ask before ordering if you need a different material.

Resin

Educational comparison only. Resin printing has different equipment, handling and finishing considerations and is not a claim that the shop offers it.

Heat and environment

PLA and Silk PLA should not be treated as universal high-heat materials. A hot vehicle, direct sun, hot water or a heat source can affect a print depending on the object and exposure.

Tell the maker if the part will live outdoors, near heat, under load or in a moving assembly. Suitability is reviewed for the job instead of being inferred from the material name.

Food, medical and safety uses

Do not assume a filament label, smooth surface or decorative finish makes a print food-safe, dishwasher-safe, sanitary or suitable for medical use. This shop does not publish those certifications here.

Ask before ordering if an object will contact food, drink, skin, medication, a child, an animal, heat or a safety-critical mechanism. The maker may decline a use that cannot be responsibly verified.
